CoinPoker Ends Withdrawal Fees, Gives Away Free Crypto Poker Tournament Ticket Worth $500

CoinPoker, one of the world’s largest crypto poker platforms, recently announced that it will eliminate all withdrawal fees from its platform.

According to the announcement, players will now only pay the standard network transaction fees. Meanwhile, the ‘nominal fees’ that were a part of withdrawals and were used to fund the platform’s security and stability have now been removed.

By eliminating withdrawal fees, CoinPoker joined the likes of other crypto gambling and poker platforms, such as Rollbit. This will make it more competitive, as its customers will have more money to spend on wagers.

It will spotlight CoinPoker’s ecosystem and its native cryptocurrency, the CHP token, which saw a 1% price increase following the announcement.

In another crypto giveaway announcement, one lucky Twitter follower that retweets the post above, is following the CoinPoker account, and comments with their CoinPoker username on the post, is set to win a free crypto poker tournament entry worth $500.

If they then win that tournament, they’ll take down $40,000 for first place.

CoinPoker Cuts Fees Amid the Yearly CSOP Poker Tournament

The removal of cashout fees comes at quite an opportune time, given that CoinPoker is in the middle of its annual crypto poker event, the Crypto Series of Poker (CSOP) tournament.

The tournament will feature 41 events and $1 million in combined guaranteed prize pools. It kicked off on April 19 and will run until this Sunday, April 28.

The main event — a $100,000 GTD No Limit Hold’em event, with a $500 buy-in — will start on Sunday at 18:30 GMT.

That’s the event which can be freerolled into via the Twitter giveaway above.

Poker Legend Tony G Joins the Games on CoinPoker

CoinPoker caters to all levels of players, from microstakes grinders (such as at a $0.02/$0.05 table above) to high rollers.

The cash game action alongside the CSOP tournament series has been quite lively, even seeing a celebrity poker player Tony G join last weekend’s games, winning just over $300,000 in a single pot

In 2022 the largest online poker hand in history was played at CoinPoker, also by Tony G.

Apart from being a legendary player, Tony G (Antanas Guoga) is CoinPoker’s representative and ambassador.

His involvement with the platform gives it additional credibility and might encourage more players to join before the events end.

The poker celeb can often be found sharing his experiences at the tables on Twitter:

Even if poker fans miss out on the CSOP tournament series, plenty of unrelated poker events on CoinPoker’s platform still occur on weekends.

For high rollers, several Sunday tournaments will run outside the CSOP’s main schedule, with buy-ins from $5,000 to $25,000.

With the fully decentralized platform, participation in any event is anonymous and open to players worldwide - it’s even possible to sign into the desktop and mobile client with a MetaMask signature.

The wagers require USDT, while the native token, CHP, is used for rakeback, allowing investors to earn 33% rakeback if they buy the token and hold on to it.

The CoinPoker app was recently featured on Benzinga, Decrypt, Invezz, and similar outlets, which may have contributed to the CHP token’s price increase.
