Number of Bitcoin millionaire wallets triples in 2023

Over 81,000 wallet addresses now hold $1 million or more worth of Bitcoin. The number of crypto wallet addresses holding more than $1 million in Bitcoin (BTC) has more than tripled this year.  BitInfoCharts data shows the number of addresses with more than $1 million in BTC increased from 23,795 on Jan. 1 to 81,925 currently, a 237% increase in the last 11 months. KX drives web3 adoption with crypto startup investments

One of Thailand’s leading venture capital firms says it’s focused on boosting web3 adoption in its home country and the region by investing strategically in startups developing essential tools for onboarding new users.  KX, a venture builder subsidiary of Kasikorn Business Technology Group, has today announced that it invested in  Magic and Transak  earlier this year as part of its comprehensive strategy focused on “decentralized commerce.” The firm believes Southeast Asia can play a crucial role in its growth and wants to be at the front and center of that drive . The region already ranks very highly in crypto adoption , with Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand all rated as the top 10 countries by Chainalysis, a blockchain Analysis firm. South Korean Bitcoin lending platform Delio pauses withdrawals

The virtual asset manager and lending platform suspended withdrawals following challenges at Haru Invest, a similar entity. Delio, a virtual asset manager and lending platform based in South Korea, has announced the temporary suspension of customer withdrawals “in order to safely protect the assets of customers currently in custody.” The company made the decision in response to the recent suspension of digital asset deposits and withdrawals at Haru Invest, which has led to heightened market volatility and increased confusion among investors within the region. According to Delio, the suspension will remain in effect until “the situation and its aftermath are resolved.” A translation of the announcement read: “In order to safely protect the assets of customers currently in custody, Delio will inevitably suspend withdrawals temporarily as of June 14, 2023, 18:30."
